How the Maths Works
Electricity
kWh per 100 km × your distance × price per kWh. Charge at home and the cost per kilometre stays low; public DC fast charging costs more, so we let you switch between the two.
Petrol
Litres per 100 km × your distance × price per litre. We compare against a petrol car in the same class, using the latest inland 95 unleaded price.
